An e-flurry has erupted. For anyone planning to travel Europe & get online: Compuserve sucks. Trey has AOL and Compuserve accounts so he can swing both ways.

An e-mail is about to go off to BootlegTV about our latest arising excitement on the road: several venues are insisting that we pay exorbitant sums for the rights to film KC. I have from the very first, and repeatedly, stated that BTV & KC are part of the same package. If there are any difficulties with this for a particular venue, it's not an acceptable venue.

This evening I heard from Alex, one of the 3 BTV camera team with us, that they weren't going to film in Paris, at the Olympia. So, tonight I have informed Laurie Small, our excellent tour manager, that I will not be playing any dates where BTV are not accepted as part of our KC package. Accordingly, to pull the relevant shows or give the other Crims the choice of playing as a 3 piece. This is not a negotiable position. BTV comes with us, or all not at all, in accordance with my first & continuing statements when we began planning the tour.

Life gets much easier when you make a decision: then, simply accept the consequences which follow from it.

Up at 06.00 and a leisurely breakfast buffet with today's Guardian Europe & the FT. As yet I have been unable to get online for long enough to catch up with the past week of Guestbook postings.

Hotel Acceptable, Vienna.

Trey, Pat & I flew here from Leipzig via Frankfurt, leaving Laurie behind to protect a sickly Belewbeloid. ProjeKct Three went out for dinner and, bumping into the crew in a cafÈ opposite the hotel, we learnt that Adrian is feeling much better after a doctor's visit to Hotel Most Acceptable. So, best current knowledge is that tomorrow's show in now likely.
